How to Plan a breakfast with Santa Event
During the holidays, many schools, churches and groups plan a holiday breakfast with Santa fundraiser. In fact, this is one of the simplest and most fun fundraisers you can host.
Step 1. elect a Charity
The first thing you'll need is a charity to receive the funds. To me, the best charities to benefit would be connected to children - at least while the holidays. Is there a children's hospital in your town? Or a mission that helps families?
Of course, Toys for Tots is an additional one charity to consider. Rather than requiring an entry fee, have each participant bring a new toy to donate.
Step 2. Location & Time
Now you can begin to plan a date and time. Feel local churches and your city offices to see if you can use their facilities for the event. If one place says "no" keep asking. You will probably need to sign a compact that states you will effect the rules of the building and will clean up after the event. Gather the facility as soon as you can in advance on the event.
Step 3. Find Volunteers
Now that you've reserved a place and you have your date, it's time to call in the troops. You'll need lots of resources (people and supplies). Hopefully, by asking around, you'll be able to find ways to get abundance of both for free.
Some places to Feel are:
Local soldiery (If you have a base nearby.), High School Sports Clubs, Colleges and Universities, Local Businesses, Stores, Restaurants, Girl and Boy Scouts, Churches, Schools, and Moms Clubs.
Of policy you need a Santa. Ask colse to and you'll find man willing to recruit a family member.
Step 4. Decide Entertainment & Activities
Of policy the main attraction will be Santa and the pancakes. However, if you have a large turnout (and, hopefully you will) you'll want to have other activities planned to entertain the children while they are waiting for their turn with Santa.
Set up a coloring or craft table for the kids. Games are also fun. Alter games you know and put a Christmas twist on them - like pin the nose on Santa.
Set up a storytelling area. All you'll need is a quiet area, some good Christmas books, and comfy cushions.
Plan photos with Santa. Find a local photographer. Allow the photographer to display a sign for publicity and ask her to donate a percentage of sales to your organization. Oftentimes photographers are happy for the opportunity.
And, of course, Face Painting is a must have.
Step 5. Get the Word out About Your breakfast with Santa Fundraiser
Now, get the word out so your event is a huge success!
Provide flyers at all the following locations:
Bookstores, Elementary Schools, Grocery Stores, Libraries, Preschools and Daycares.
Also, Feel local newspaper, radio stations, and free family publications. Give the news something inevitable to record about.

Problems Facing Teens Today
Teen problems are growing. If you think that being a teen today is the same as it was when you were in their shoes, you are probably mistaken. Now, listen to yourself say how strict and how hard life was when you where young. But, you need to comprehend that teens today face huge, life threatening decisions just about ever day. What they face has a lot to do with where they grow up. Yet do not be fooled into reasoning that your child is safe.
In the general procedure of your teen's day, he or she may face any of these things; one or more of them.
Drugs. Think that drugs are straightforward like they used to be? They are not. Kids today are not just smoking the easy stuff. They are into crack or other strong and deadly drugs.
Sex. Not only are they exposed to it on the television, but they are encouraged by others. They may be tantalizing in sexual acts that you have never heard of. They may be doing it unprotected as well. At school, after school, on the car ride home - there are many opportunities you do not realize. Teens get pregnant and have babies.
Violence. Today's teen problems often revolve nearby violence. They see friends with guns at school or after school. They observe huge fights. They hear threats. They see anger and deal with it daily.
Depression. With all that they see and do, teens face depression today at an alarming rate as compared to just a decade ago. Depression is not something that just goes away, but can cause them harm and threaten their lives.
Driving. Teens drive drunk. Teens drive under the affect of drugs. Teens get in cars that others are driving under the influence. Teens may also be responsible drivers, but share the road with those that are not.
Teen problems that are at a lower level can be just as deadly. They face lying, cheating, emotional trauma, studying disabilities and divorce. All of these things a child will face daily in some cases. In those cases, it is no wonder that they have low self esteems, high drop out rates and some of the students will break under the pressure. Teen problems should be addressed and noticed by their parents first.
